Located 20 minutes from the Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport, Chandler, Arizona is a popular vacation spot. There is plenty to do in this beautiful city. The town of Chandler is named for Dr. Alexander J. Chandler who arrived in the valley in 1887 and envisioned the future of the city surrounded by the beauty of the desert. Mr. Chandler created an irrigation system that transformed the desert community into a formidable farm land. By 1912, the Town of Chandler was established and today is a leader in computer technology. Chandler is always looking to the future and experiencing the fulfillment of its potential.
